Faithfulness

The society in which we live, has an insatiable diet for something different. So much so that a regiment of normal seems to be become stale and "So Yesterday". Could it be that the Very Word of God would stand in stark contrast to that thinking? Just take some time to study Genesis' account of Noah. God spoke to him to build an Ark because God was going to destroy every breathing thing on earth. Then, the Word does not say that God spoke again to Noah until 120 years later.
Could it be that we already have everything we need, we just need to do it until God decides to tell us something different???!!! Faithfulness can NOT be overrated. The next thing that God told Noah was to go into the Ark with all of the animals and his family. They were then faithful in that until God spoke again and said, "Leave the Ark and multiply.
I Believe that the Lord is speaking to the Church again today and He is saying something Brand New, "Obey My Commands". This doesn't take New Teaching, it takes faithfulness.

His Presence

Regardless of what we go through in our daily lives, there is nothing that settles our souls like the Presence of the Living God. How many prayer lives are wrecked by the circumstances that we face. It totally transforms our time with God into warring, pleading, begging and even wreckless attempts to manipulate God into doing what we think we need.
God is Holy and the more we realize this reality, the more we can seek Him for who He is, as the primary thing, instead of seeking Him for what we need, which is the last thing. If you are struggling, whether personally, financially, physically or in Ministry--His Presence if the FIRST thing that you need. His Presence is NOT the means to you end--It is EVERYTHING. I pray that the next time you set your heart to Pray, that you can set aside your STUFF and simply seek Him for HIM, because HE IS!

Grace

In order for us to better understand the Magnitude and Intensity of Grace, just image every sin that you have personally ever committed. Now add to that every sin that you ever WILL commit, multiplied by 10, for the ones that you did NOT even notice.

Now add that massive number to all who have ever lived AND to all those who ever will live. It is the fragrance of Christ to have taken on ALL sin. How difficult it is to comprehend, a Love that will not end. The next time you catch a glimpse of a star twinkling through an opening in the clouds of night, remember the Magnitude and the Intensity of God’s Grace shinning through the clouds of our lives, to save us.
In Jesus’ name, Bro. Lane

Call2Fall

As our the Church in America experienced the Call2Fall today, it is the first step to lifting the heavy veil that has been holding hte Body of Christ back. When we embrace our responsibility for the sin in our nation, it leads us to a revelation of Repentance. While this can seem heavy, repentance ALWAYS leads to salvation and deliverence.
In Daniel 9we read that THE COMMAND was given the MOMENT Daniel began his supplications. Supplications always follow repetance and are evidence of true repentance. If you were part of the Call2Fall today and experienced the repentance of the Church on behalf of the nation and entered into supplication for this nation--You have opened yourself to the Lord to give you understand--Which Gabriel came togive Daniel. Enter in and Embrace.

Vermion Parish Pastor's Prayer

The Pastors of Vermilion Parish have been praying together WEEKLY, for 6 years NOW! That is praying with Senior Pastors of the Epicopalians, the United Methodist, the Church of God, the Baptist, the A/G, and all types of Independent Churches. The Lord has done a tremendous Work in our community and in our own hearts. One Pastor was recently asked who his Pastor was and he started listing the Pastors from our Prayer Group, because "these are the men that know my heart and I can bear my heart to...".
Even the climate within the community has slowly BUT SURELY changed, toward the Pastors of this group. Our envolvement within the public arena, i.e. desaster assistance, community Thanksgiving services, Praish Wide Men's Meetings.... All done as a joint effort between these 12-14 Pastors.
God has tremendously opened doors to this community and we are guarding that gift of God with Wisdom. He is giving us a platform of Integrity, God give us the Wisdom of the Holy Ghost to BUILD on that platform, the things that will bring HONOR to Jesus.
Looking forward to what the Lord is goin g to do NEXT.
Pastor Lane
